To prevent these problems, follow these three basic tips:

  • Choose panels that are at least 6 cm thick;
  • Thinner panels tend to warp due to thermal expansion caused by temperature changes between summer and winter or direct exposure to the sun.
  • Fix the panels with suitable anchors. It is essential to use between 6 and 12 anchors per square meter to ensure proper adhesion to the wall. Protect the panels with a suitable covering. To avoid damage caused by the sun and frost, apply a layer of plaster or ceramic of at least 6 mm, together with a specific glue (for example, Kerakoll or equivalent) with a minimum thickness of 4 mm. By following these instructions, your panels will remain stable and unchanged for over 30 years.
